This is a one of a kind cyanotype from a mini-series I created.
The cyanotype process uses a mixture of iron compounds, which when exposed to UV light and washed in water oxidise to create Prussian Blue images.
I'm fascinated by the contrast and dimensions these prints can make. This cyanotype was made using my own body and a handpicked selection of foraged plants and fauna representing my ideas about the human form in nature.
Available unframed, image shows suggested framing only.
Handmade paper, ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide, water
