"Leaves barely hatched #1", colored pencils on paper, 13X17,5 cm. UNFRAMED.

This artwork is a photorealistic nature drawing, made from a photo of foliages I took in my garden. Spring buds bursting in spring.

This accurate and meticulous work was done in more than 20 full hours. The practice of hyperrealistic drawing is for me as an asceticism, a wonderful exercise of concentration. This small size drawing is a perfect example of graphical technic in Fine Art. High realism gives huge effect.

I've used professional colored pencils Luminance ( Caran d'Ache) et Polychromos (Faber Castell).

This fine art drawing would be fine mounted with a double mat as shown in the additional photos. Please note that the drawing is sold UNFRAMED.

I put my signature on the front, on the white border surrounding the drawing.
So, it shows this is a real drawing, and not a photography :-)
