The feeling of freedom, lightness, infinity. This is what Braun wants to convey to the viewer with the leap of this slender greyhound amidst the clouds.
The oil paint was applied to a primed MDF board - with brush, spatula and painting cloth. In layers and glazes, the paint was applied again and again in nuances of delicate red tones ranging from violet to orange-ochre, overlaid and partly blurred. The greyhound is painted on this ground in glazes.
On the back there is already a holder for hanging the picture.
