A small oil study of two conference pears set against a contemporary grey background. I have a real love for painting fruit...the colours, skin and peel textures and shapes are all so appealing to me. The simplicity of these two pears really spoke to me and the way they leaned into one another when I put them together just seemed to imply a sense of 'togetherness'.
The painting is being sold in a double painted wooden frame, the outer in pale grey and the inner in a dark distressed grey.
MDF board, artist oil paints, satin varnish, painted wooden frame
