“Le Soir En Amoureux”, I really see nature as something terribly romantic, so I can't help representing it with feelings. I am always in awe looking at the sky, looking at a tree, it makes me vibrate in my soul and in my heart. Life and love are one for me, it fuels me, it fuels what I represent, what I want.

(I have used some little touches of fluorescent orange, it's hard to make it visible on the computer screen but maybe you can see it in the "detail images".)
Re-worked September 2017

This series of paintings is called "Flirtation with reality".
It's an evocation of nature and countryside, an evocation of natural landscapes, I made the realism more obvious than in the other paintings, pushing further the borders between abstraction and realism.
The hues used are less flashy, less colour contrasted -even if that can still happen- (the transitions between colours are more subtle), tinted with a touch of melancholy. I want it more romantic, with a lingering feeling of nostalgia, but in a poetic way.

"Le Soir En Amoureux" is painted with acrylic on canvas (standard cotton) , it is signed on the front, and will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
