JL Lacroix has created several paintings about the guardians –the Guardian of Feelings, the Guardian of the Storm, the Guardian, the Guardian of the Entrance and here the Guardian of the sticks. For the artist, this theme evokes something deep and protective, and he has declined it in a variety of styles, formats and materials, including mail-art, welded-steel and mixed-media sculptures (all online).
