I’ve recently traded out a collection of work for a new group, with a Gallery in the USA. Et, Voila; this collage piece is back and my hands and I am SO EXCITED to be making it available here! For me, this piece embodies all the elements that I see as being my “Signature” characteristics. It is Whimsical, Fanciful, filled with “Joie de Vivre”, and perfect for anybody who desires to add Happiness to their Home! The way I work in collage here, also typifies my Collage Works, in that I will utilize a Decorative, Patterned bit of Paper beside which I will imitate that pattern or design, in paint, but not too closely or precisely, so that upon closer inspection, the difference is evident. ( It’s a big “Holly Wink” this technique.) This canvas is several times varnished, and the edges are painted so it can be hung unframed, if preferred.
