Artwork description:

I've always tried to live within easy reach of a sea or ocean. There is something about walking on a beach - the sand beneath my feet that I find restorative and inspiring. This is from my ongoing series 'Son of a Beach', started in 2015 with an exhibition in Majorda, Goa.

This image is from Camber Sands in the UK, shot on a chilly March Sunday with people having a post lunch walk with the dogs..

I shot the same stretch of beach multiple times - waiting for walkers to enter frame, so I had many different images of walkers which I then stitched together in a single image. Limited edition of five prints. Also available in smaller sizes as an open edition, just ask.

Materials used:

Epson fine art inks on Fuji Crystal archive paper with matt finish.
