There is something of a Vincent Van Gogh influence in this impressionist painting - individual impressionist strokes of the hog's hair brushes, the delineation of large forms and the use of line, flow and direction, used to capture this wonderful sunny day in Paris' park, Buttes-Chaumont, the fifth largest park in Paris located in the 19th arrondissement.
