This was painted earlier this year before spring made an appearance. I wanted to capture the soft edges of a hazy, mizzly morning in Sussex UK. Very muted violet and yellow tones dominate the sky, with a variety of different greens in the landscape. The painting has a shadow gap between canvas and frame to enhance the painting.
