Original artwork description:

This mixed media painting on made up of dozens of fragments of my hand painted papers pieced together onto a large canvas.
The pieces of collage are little artworks in themselves and are full of detail and history. You can see several 'close-up' details of the painting here.
The inspiration for this artwork was a view across the heather on the North Yorkshire Moors in summer.
The finished work was then glazed with a matte varnish to enhance the colours and textures of the collage, and also to bond and protect it.
This canvas is ready to hang. NB I may be able to arrange free delivery to local customers in central or South-East London - please send a message for more details if interested and I can adjust the shipping prices.
