"Layered Depths" features a complex composition of large dark shapes in various hues, from very dark blue to transparent dark glazes of browns. Yellow-orange shapes are built up through layered brushstrokes and markers, while a thick, expressive turquoise brushstroke stretches almost vertically from bottom to top. Smaller pinkish and lighter areas bring bursts of light into the painting, creating a dynamic and textured abstract work.
