Tokyo in my mind equals movement. Everyone and everything are moving there. Walking, riding cars, commuting by subway or trains.

In this work I wanted to capture the big city vibe with skyscrapers, huge crossroads, stations, all in one place, layers of movement forward, both horizontal and vertical.
The energy is exhausting if you aren’t used to it, but somehow it’s also very inspiring and lively.
The textures are light and often transparent, there is a lot of glass.
And natural forms are there too, as one more layer. It isn’t just a concrete jungle, leaves and branches add some balance to the picture.
