'Lavender's Blue Dilly Dilly' is an original ink study on lightly hand stained paper measuring 185mm x 295mm in size. This is a study done a couple of years ago...an enjoyable ramble with a pen and a free mind wandering hither and thither. This is a vey romantic piece...funny where you go in your head but this is one of my favourite rhymes and I love the 'Dilly Dilly' bit...I guess it's the start of me incorporating quotes, phrases, stories, rhymes and words into my drawing work.
