This is an atmospheric painting showing the Lavender fields which are growing way into the distance. You can almost smell the Lavender in the early evening sun. The sun caught the edge of the mountain range and painted them glowing yellow as the sun disappeared from view.I painted this when I was in France. This breathtaking view caught my eye. The colours are magnificent purples and violets with sunflower fields adding to the rich colours. The hills and mountains stretch way into the distance. This painting is painted on a deep edge canvas and is ready to hang.
