When in England recently, I would walk past a large bush of lavender and it so reminded me of my childhood. I immediately bought myself a plant for my balcony here in Milan so I can constantly enjoy the wonderful perfume that brings back so many peaceful memories.
This painting, done from imagination, has the same effect on me.

Painted in oil and acrylic. The borders of "Lavender fields forever" are painted purple and it is strung at the back ready for hanging. The frame in the photo is for illustrative purposes only.
