Continuous training, the discovery of new tools, techniques, approaches to drawing is an important part of the life of a modern artist. Normally I take 2-3 courses a year.
I've painted this typical landscape of Provence on one of the lessons of "Flowers in pastel" course . Painted with pastels on watercolor underpainting . Canson mi-Teintis paper.
This painting is one of the Lavender series of artworks that I am working on, I love the color of this work . Deep purple and lilac create a strong impact the painting It is very detailed with lots of texture.
Looking forward to my trip to France in upcoming summer where hopefully more landscapes will be painted.
