The beautiful Lavender is part of the mint family and grows wild in the English countryside as well as in private gardens.. It displays its glorious colors and smells during spring and summer and loves the sunshine. Bees are often seen gathering their nectar from the flowers.
Acrylic paints and mediums, charcoal, golden GAC 100, and Liquitex pouring medium are blended to create this work. I also use a sander to develop layers and textures to the painting.
