Painting at a lavender farm is like aromatherapy. As a plein air artist, I’m lucky that I can transport my studio to a lavender farm for a few days. I spent three beautiful evenings escaping the summer heat capturing the last light hitting the trees on this lavender farm. Looking at this painting transports me to the memory of the birds singing and the flowers dancing as I painted without a care in the world.
