This carpet of bluebells is the most intense I've ever stumbled across. Hidden away in the Ashdown forest in Sussex, England, it brings back memories of a perfect day celebrating the marriage of my niece Laura, as I shot it while out for a walk on the morning of her wedding day.

The monkey puzzle tree in the background (which shouldn't be in deciduous woodland) always makes me wonder if someone may have cultivated this field especially...
