Original artwork description:

At the base of Latourell Falls, in the Columbia Gorge, falling water cascades over rocks, some covered in moss. It's cool, misty, and the waterfall and creek make a joyous sound. It's difficult to paint standing next to a waterfall, so this was painted in my studio. Brush strokes are bold, textured, expressive of the energy of the moving water. The sides of the gallery wrapped canvas are painted a dark blue green.
