A door in a hot, foreign city. The walls are yellow, warm, like the sun, and the door is red, a little rusty perhaps, the interior mysterious. A foreign adventure. What lies inside? The painting is unusual, rich, satisfying and alive with colour and joy. Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
