Original artwork description:

In this painting I wanted capture the buttery sunshine of an early September evening on the Southbank in London. The modernist shapes of the Royal Festival Hall contrasts with new architecture and the Shard almost seemed invisible as it shimmered in the sunshine.

This is an oil painting on linen canvas in a bespoke frame painted in burnished green with a gold leaf beading to complement the colours of the painting. There is also a white slip to create contrast.
