LARGE STATEMENT-PIECE
LARGE TRILOGY AS TRIPTYCH
The Hamptons are a very special place for me, a place of longing, where the really important things for the soul can be found. A place that seems to have fallen out of time, a retreat, somewhere between the Atlantic and the big city that never sleeps, somewhere between eternity, fast paced life and at the gates of the world. What I really need, it is in the small moments when the day gently sweeps over the coastal landscape and, above all, the colors and winds stay in my memory more than anything else.
Over the years, the cycle of life became an important topic in my painting. I'm not talking about the big events and actions. Life is always a collection of many little moments and key experiences. What do we remember when we look back? It is not the complete story of our life from A to Z, it is just a few important breathtaking moments that have shaped and enriched us. Life is a circle and follows the course of the sun: We awaken, we rise, we take a deep breath before we fall and fade again. In this specific artwork I deal with our inner restlessness and longing that sometimes makes it so difficult for us to remain in the moment and enjoy happiness.
This triptych combines the following works:

This triptych is a LARGE STATEMENT- PIECE for an aesthetic, finely nuanced impression on your wall. It is a part of my authentic, profound message as an artist.
About the dimension: This triptych consists of 3 single paintings, each in acrylic and oil on canvas and each with dimensions of 120 (w) x 150 (h) x 4,5 cm / 47,2 (w) x 59,1 (h) x 1,77 inches. I prefer a hanging distance each of 10 cm / 3,9 inches between the 3 single paintings. Complete dimensions of this artwork, including the hanging space between the single paintings: 380 (w) x 150 (h) x 4,5 cm / 149,6 (w) x 59,1 (h) x 1,77 inches.
I use exclusively oil and acrylic paints, canvas and wooden frames in a professional museum quality. The three paintings bear my signature on the front and they are signed, entitled and dated on the backside. Deliberately the XL-sides (about 4,5 cm / 1,77 in wide) are no part of the paintings and show the white and pure canvas with a few splashes of paint to emphasize the intuitiveness and spontaneity of the painting process. The paintings are unframed and ready to hang (on the backside: high-quality iron plates with metal inserts and nylon rope for gallery use), and they don't need a frame or any additional surface treatment. Every painting needs a single hanging (no backside connections between the paintings). The triptych will be safely shipped in one custom wooden crate and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a cover letter.
Please note: In context pictures are not necessarily to scale and are for illustrative purposes only. If you have any questions about this artwork or any other piece, feel free to contact me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Furthermore I am available for large-format commissioned work and the execution of your personal statement-piece.
Thanks so much for taking an interest in my work.
Stay healthy.
