Nice late summer fruits - best corn in the county! Dry ears of corn in a wicker basket. Sweet gifts from the countryside. I saw it during my trip to the south of Spain at on of the lavender farms.

This painting is made in an unique watercolor technique wet-on-wet, which give a sense of softness and nice shadows. Some details are made in dry-brush technique to give a toque of sharp details.
