"Reflections" is a new body of work admiring the ripples and reflections of local ponds, admiring the vital role they play in providing aquatic life with rich habitats and biodiversity.

"Reflections" acknowledges the time spent looking both upwards (at the skies) and downwards (within the water) and yet also casts the perfect metaphor for the reflections of our minds, both in searching for more and searching within. In this post-pandemic time, I've found reflections really soothing, allowing space for me to reflect on my own life; the depth, the perspective and looking above - searching for meaning.

This piece is rich in layered depths of deep blues, greens and with a subtle undertone of yellow and orange. The brushstrokes are feathery, light, fluid and moving.

This piece would look stunning alongside any other piece from "Reflections" or on its own with a neutral backdrop and lots of plants.
