Original artwork description:

This original painting was done en plein air, which means, painted from direct observation. Though Plein air means outside, this was actually painted through my window but still from direct observation, thus capturing the essence of the scene and colors in their natural light. We had a late snow this February following a really mild winter, which made the sight of snow all the more beautiful.
