Late afternoon in Palm Springs. The sun sets early and casts dramatic shadows.
The cinematic quality and extreme weather of the Mojave, Sonoran and Chihuahuas desert has inspired the collection Desert Diary. It often feels familiar, like a place you know, but have only seen in a movie. I have travelled these deserts for many years, and no road trip or landscape ever feel the same because of the constantly changing light and shapes of the desert.
Artwork dimension 40x40cm, this includes a white border of 5cm on each side. Actual image will be 30x30cm. Signed on the back.
