A late afternoon rural scene bathed in orange light, this painting is very peaceful and quiet. I used a palette knife for most of the piece which has created a lot of texture not only in the foreground but also the sky. Repeated glazing also enhanced the colors and created the effect of the dusky glow of sunset.
