Original artwork description:

This smaller Oil Pastel on Black Paper piece was drawn on the same day as the Frog Rock piece. After focusing on the rocks, ocean and old settlement in detail in the other piece I was enjoying the sunset view along the coast and as the daylight faded I decided to try to capture the last visible colours as the scene fell into darkness. I wanted to show the darker colours of the beach and the final rays of daylight illuminating the waves as they rolled in. Drawing at this time is usually a bit of a race against time to capture what you can see and also to remember what you want to add into the picture as it fades away! It was a fun kind of challenge!
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
