This is an oil painting made using Winsor and Newton Artist grade oil paints on Daler Rowner artist grade gesso primed canvas panel. The piece is painted in tones of indigo and blue black on a grey underpainting. A single cloud remains visible in the last light of the night sky over a body of water framed by distant hills. The mood is tranquil and calming-all is at rest and in equilibrium here.
