I was in the home of a friend last week, and passed an older painting of mine, hanging in their hallway. Truth be told, it was a painting I’d forgotten about, but loved seeing again!! Sparked by all the enthusiasm when I posted it, I was inspired to paint something in the same vain. Et, Voila! “Last Call” is a reference to perhaps the fact that I’ll be departing again for my home in France quite soon, so this painting might be a “Last Call” before I go… As well, a “Last Call”, as far as going back to referencing older work. This canvas is painted around the edges so can be hung, unframed…
