This painting makes me think of an autumn afternoon and the scent of roses on the wind. It is a contemporary impressionistic style oil painting of a garden landscape scene where I have made use of bold brushstrokes to highlight the focal points which are the blooms themselves.

The warm values of the green foliage against the feminine pink roses give one a sense of serenity.
