Original artwork description:

This large scale original painting is made using traditional paper marbling techniques. I make lots of marbled papers but combine them with pre-coloured paper and then also apply splashes of gold paint on the surface once it's dry.

The patterned paper is then pressed and cut into these 4cm dots and assembled into this striking concentric circular design.

Each dot is mounted raised to create a 3d shadow effect.

This piece is also available on a black background and black frame.
