Original artwork description:

This large scale original painting is made using traditional paper marbling techniques. I make marbled papers in contrasting colour pallettes & combine them with pre-coloured paper with the addition of gold paint on the surface once it's dry.

The patterned paper is then pressed and cut into these 4cm dots and assembled into this striking concentric circular design.

Each dot is mounted and raised to create a 3d shadow effect.
