This beautiful and tranquil, high quality painting shows the peace of a humble stream as it meanders through the countryside. I have used light and shade here to create depth and have lovingly painted the scene from imagination. There are elements of thick impasto techniques in my art and this painting is no exception to that delicious depth and texture.

I have used, as always, high quality acrylics and these are varnished to protect the colours. All it needs is a frame of your choice to create a bold centre piece within your home.
