Painted not as a copy at all but painted purely for the sake of painting in Reynolds thick painting style, fantastic impasto is used here as well as glazes of rich reds and crimsons in the coat.
Unframed but varnished, painted with freedom and sureness. Painted on a box canvas 30x40 inch.
