Original artwork description:

Laren – 30-04-19

When I Laren near the Singer Laren Museum I saw a couple of horses and perhaps they were the same couple as drawn by me in ‘hommage to a dead horse’ last year. I don’t know, the horse seemed at the end of its game to me back then but maybe it was only sick. Anyway, spring has arrived and on my quest to improve myself in quick drawing it seemed logic to me to draw this couple both quickly and cubistically, in order to test if I could employ my cubist style also within an hour.

Graphite pencil drawing (Pentel 0.5 mm, 3B) on Winsor & Newton paper (10.5 x 14.8 x 0.1 cm – A6 format)
Artist: Corné Akkers

Materials used:

Graphite pencil drawing (Pentel 0.5 mm, 3B) on Canson Bristol paper (14.8 x 10.5 cm - A6 format)
