Original artwork description:

A gouache painting of a lapwing, ankle deep in water. It is executed on 300gsm, hot pressed watercolour paper, is signed and titled on the back, is unmounted and unframed.

This painting was inspired by the birds I see the whole time from my studio window as they fly and glide and swoop over the iconic White Cliffs of Dover and surrounding countryside, offering an inspiring sight :)
