Another in my Postcards from Japan Series.
This piece is a slight abstraction of an iconic Japanese symbol. On a trip to Japan, in the older areas you will find lanterns lighting doorways, restaurants and homes creating beautiful shadows and soft lighting. The colors are a continuation of my series. Stamping was added from handmade stamps representing the Japanese chrysanthemum.
