This painting was inspired by my love of the Impressionists who tended to put more emphasis on the nature of light in its changing qualities rather than realism. I loved the way they somehow managed to incorporate movement and stillness simultaneously. I have used paper, oil and acrylic paints to create my interpretation of the beauty and depth of where light and water meet.
