Artwork description:

This etching explored various forms of language via the written word, pictograms and visual language. Images were pulled from the newspaper of the day, choosing the most topical images that appeared in that edition.

These included soldiers, an image of a slaughtered cow (Rembrandt), the actress from Mad Men and a man from times gone by. The idea was to explore how language evolved through time and the ways we interpret information from the various ways it is presented to the public.
