I haven't been to the Lake District since last autumn but I'm planning another trip north for late spring. In anticipation, I've painted the beautiful Langdale valley in its spring colours. These two farmhouses are almost hidden by the wildflowers growing down in the meadow at the valley bottom. In the distance the Langdale Pikes meet the sky.
Acrylic on canvas, sides painted soft grey, varnished, strung on the back and ready to hang. It measures 30cm x 30cm.
I’ve signed the back and it will be sent with a signed certificate of authenticity but please let me know if you would like it signed on the front and I’ll be happy to do so.
