One of my favourite Lakeland valleys, Langdale, has no lake, but Blea Tarn sits between Little Langdale and Langdale and creeps into the foreground of this painting of the wild fells. The Langdale Pikes are pictured on the skyline. Rough ground all around with just one farmhouse as a symbol of home and safety in this wild and beautiful landscape.
This is acrylic on canvas, varnished, sides painted white and strung on the back ready to hang (or of course it could be framed).
Measurements are 50cm x 40cm x 3cm so it's big enough to make a feature.
I’ve signed the back and it will be sent with a signed certificate of authenticity but please let me know if you would like it signed on the front and I’ll be happy to do so.
