Painted en plein air (on location).

Plein-air painting is the practice of painting landscape pictures out-of-doors, more loosely. Painting en plein air, though very challenging due to unpredictability and varying conditions, like constantly changing light, wind and rain, heat or cold, can be very rewarding, since it allows me to experience the landscape to the maximum and capture the spirit and essence of a landscape by incorporating natural light, color, and movement into my works.

Materials:
Oil on canvas panel. Painting surface is protected with a coat of varnish.
