About Suren Nersisyan

Biography

I see and build poetry through color, texture, and shape.
There is both an internal and an external world. Each of us sees and feels in a unique, unrepeatable way. Our experiences and introspections shape how we perceive and sense the world. I continuously analyze my impressions and emotions in response to my surroundings.
I strive to create harmony on the surface of my compositions, using textured oil paint, lines, shapes, and colors. My paintings reflect objects and environments interpreted through a personal visual language. In a way, they are like poems—dedicated to a specific place and moment in time.
I experience the world with a heightened sensitivity, much like a child. I observe, outline, and reflect on beauty, doing my best to create a “separate spiritual world” on canvas, where each painting has its own life. I paint honestly and instinctively, expressing what I deeply feel.
If my artwork speaks to you, it means there is a space for it in this world.
I have participated in numerous exhibitions across the USA and Europe. My work has been featured in American Art Collector magazine (Issue 138).
You may also spot my paintings in various movies and television series across different networks. Some of them are right on the walls of HBO shows, others are in movies, etc.
