Original artwork description:
This work continues my experiments in Contemporary Geometric Minimalism. Trying something new in this work by using french curves of grays, blue and yellow and not bringing the image to the edge of the paper. The shapes juxtaposed next to one another suggest a mountain landscape. The central image is 24" W x 18 1/2" H on a 28"W x 22"H heavy stock acid free paper, which was gessoed. I used Professional Liquitex Heavy Body acrylic paint mixed with matte medium. The work is Titled, dated and signed on the back.
