This work continues my experiments in Contemporary Geometric Minimalism. Hard edged color blocks juxtaposed next to one another in bold color. This work is a more pared down version of my Concrete Paintings. An infuence in this particular work was Richard Diebenkorn's Ocean Park Series. The work is painted on heavy stock acid free paper, which was gessoed. I used Professional Liquitex Heavy Body acrylic paint mixed with matte medium. The work is Titled, dated and signed on the back.
