Along the Little Missouri River. As it winds its way through North Dakota's badlands. There is this special spot. Right at a bend in the river. The cottonwoods lining the river dance in the afternoon breeze. The autumn sun doesn't burn the earth quite so intensely with its heat. A meadow lark sings. Gathering together for the flight south. I love this land. I love this spot. A Bend in the River, forever in my heart.
