This painting forms part of a series of semi-abstracted paintings celebrating the arrival of spring. The piece is made with multiple layers of oil paint applied with home made squeegees, palette knife work and minimal brushwork, balancing control with chance to create a pleasing vista upon which to rest one's gaze.

The work is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness, on a fully archival 8mm thick poplar wood panel measuring 30cm by 24 cm, which will fit many ready made frames.

The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. It is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

I endeavour to estimate shipping charges as accurately as possible. In the event of overcharging, I will refund the difference through Artfinder, and will bear the cost of any undercharging myself.

Outside of the UK and America there may be local duty / tax. If so, this is payable by the collector prior to delivery - the postal service/courier for your country will request payment if any is due. VAT on art imports is usually at a reduced rate compared with general VAT ratings.
